Working Hours: Mon - Fri 9-5pm with 30 minutes lunch break
Mirror Marketing is a Field Marketing Agency - Quite simply, we work with brands to get products noticed in retail to encourage consumers to buy them.
We do this by using an army of people across the UK to go into stores and physically check on products, put up cardboard promotional units, make sure prices are correct, sometimes we may sell or demonstrate.
About the Role:
We are looking for a hero to help us! We have recently expanded and moved into a warehouse / office combined. We are a 'family' type business looking for someone to take control of our small warehouse.
We work on behalf of brands in retail and have a requirement to send out stock and units to stores and our teams. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with a strong work ethic to join our friendly team at Mirror.
This is a role which the right person can make their own. There is 2 small warehouses which will become your domain to manage and maintain along with a barn off site which will also need to be looked after for 4-5 months of the year.
Your main role will be running our warehouse where you will send and receive deliveries, you will also at times be required to drive our van and make deliveries. This will include travel into London. There are times where the warehouse can be quiet due to the nature of the business, at these times you would be required to help in the office with basic admin tasks.
Everything that comes in and out of the warehouse needs to be logged on our system. Sometimes the items are put together to be sent out, some go into storage and some are reworked to be ready for the next season/year.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Loading and unloading vehicles
Manual handling of parcels and stands
Accepting deliveries
Packing up deliveries to go out
Driving vans around as required
Stock take and Inventory keeping using our in-house system
Keeping up cleanliness and adhering to Health and SafetyAbout you:
At times you will be required to drive various vans to collect and deliver stock - a clean driving licence would be beneficial
Some heavy lifting will be required so you must be physically fit
A forklift license would be ideal although training will be given to the correct individual
An eye for detail, common sense and good initiative will help you in this role.Experience:
