Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Driver

Job Type: Full-time (Temp to Perm -12 week reduced to 4 weeks for the right person)
Salary: £13.15 per hour (increasing upon successful permanent placement)
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
* Loading and unloading deliveries.
* Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
* Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
* Booking goods in and out using warehouse systems.
* Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
* Ensuring products are stored safely and correctly.
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Working closely with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
Experience:
* Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences (essential).
* Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Experience handling long-length materials or metal products would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking with an excellent work ethic.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
