Description:
Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to support operations within a busy furniture warehouse based in Exeter, EX15.
This temporary position will involve a combination of warehouse duties, manual handling and supporting the team with furniture delivery.
Job Type: Temporary
Location: Cullompton, Exeter, EX15
Pay: £13.94 per hour + £1.68 per hour holiday pay, PAYE
Contract length: 2 weeks in total (40 hours per week)
Start date: 26th October – 1st November inclusive & 16th November – 22nd November inclusive
Schedule: Day shifts – 7am – 4pm
Candidate Requirements:
Strong communication skills and a professional approach to work
Previous experience in a warehouse environment, including manual handling dutiesKey Responsibilities:
Work within a team to deliver furniture
Carry out manual handling duties, including moving and lifting furniture safely
Support general warehouse and distribution activities as requiredPrevious warehouse experience is essential for this position. The successful candidate will be reliable, physically capable of undertaking manual handling duties, and able to demonstrate a strong work ethic in a fast-paced operational environment.
