Warehouse Operative
£11.64 per hour, 12-month FTC, 35 hours, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, 25 days hol + BH, Pension, Parking
The Role
Due to an internal secondment in the team, we are delighted to be supporting our life sciences client in their search for a Warehouse Operative to join their team for a 12-month fixed term contract. Working as part of a small team, this varied warehouse position will see you storing ambient, chilled and frozen stock, picking orders, packaging goods for despatch and completing paperwork associated to customer orders.
Goods in - booking in stock, checking quantities, and storing correctly in ambient, chilled and frozen stores
Restocking of goods and paying careful attention to product shelf life
Picking and packing orders and at all times ensuring correct storage of items
Assist in generating all relevant import/export documentation for shipments
Goods out - ensuring all documentation is present and goods out are correctly packaged and logged
General warehouse maintenance - recording of chilled environment temperature, general housekeeping
Requirements
To be successful in the role of Warehouse Operative, our client is looking for someone with ideally some experience in warehousing- consideration will be given to those without experience if they can demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic. You will be comfortable with using computers and very detail orientated. Experience of having worked in the medical, bioscience or pharmaceutical sectors would be advantageous but not essential.

Package
£11.64 per hour - (equates to annual salary of £21,200)
