Warehouse Operative

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Partridge Green on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, including goods-in processes, stock control, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment, updating stock systems, unloading deliveries, and ensuring stock is stored accurately.
Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
* Receive, inspect, and book in goods, maintaining accurate stock records
* Process subcontractor-manufactured assemblies and prepare component kits
* Unload, store, and move stock safely within the warehouse
* Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and housekeeping
* Carry out stock checks and support inventory control activities
* Assist with packing, dispatch, and the timely fulfilment of customer orders
* Support basic production and assembly tasks where required
* Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
Requirements for the Warehouse Operative:
* Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, goods-in, or stock control role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to handle and move stock and materials safely
* Basic computer skills for stock booking and inventory systems
* Flexible approach and willingness to support other operational areas when required.
Benefits, Salary and Hours for the Warehouse Operative:
* Full-time, permanent position based in Partridge Green
* Salary between £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish at 4:30pm on Fridays
* Free onsite parking
* 23 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown
