Warehouse Operative
Temporary Ongoing
Bury St Edmunds
Monday to Friday – AM and PM shifts available
£12.71 per hour
We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable business based in Bury St Edmunds, who are preparing for a busy seasonal period and are looking to expand their warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates seeking ongoing work within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with immediate starts and long-term opportunities available for the right individuals.
Please note: this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting duties.
Key Duties:
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
Loading and unloading stock within the warehouse
Conducting stock checks and supporting inventory control processes
Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
Following all health & safety procedures and site guidelines
Working as part of a busy team to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be advantageous and may attract a higher rate of pay
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team
