Description:
Warehouse Operative will support Warehouse Supervisor in carrying out the daily operational responsibilities for all warehouse activities.
Ensuring production and customer order fulfilment targets are met; by maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse, while ensuring the efficient inbound receipt of materials and components, maintaining accurate and readily available inventory to support the production plan, and the timely outbound dispatch of finished product.
Integral to the role is working as a key member of the Operations team, demonstrating teamwork, organisational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
* Support the daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance at all times.
* Ensure inbound, replenishment and outbound workflows; receipt of inbound supply of materials and components, inventory put-away, wind, pick and pack of finished goods, and outbound dispatch processes are carried out in a timely manner.
* Work in accordance with warehouse policies, procedures, and standards.
Inventory
* Carry out stock take as required and ensure counts are performed according to defined schedules with due diligence, recorded fully.
* Maintain accurate inventory stock in accordance with SAP levels, ensuring all stock is transacted correctly.
* Ensure correct stock rotation to ensure aged stock is minimised.
Safety, Quality and Compliance:
* Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures, follow safe working practices, standard operating procedures and product quality standards.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.
* Comply with internal and external legislation and standards are maintained.
Process Improvement:
* Continually look for opportunities for process optimisation to improve productivity and reduce Warehouse operating costs.
General:
* Any other duties that may be required.
* To carry out your duties in accordance with the Company’s processes.
Ensure continued excellence in service & support towards both internal & external customers
