Warehouse Operative

Description:

We are recruiting Warehouse Operative's for our client based in Bristol Road, Gloucester, you must hold a full UK driving licence, the role is paying £11.50 per hour (increase on competition of probation), overtime £14.95 per hour, paid weekly, working rotating shifts, temp to perm, full-time, full training and site induction, opportunities to progress within the company.

Responsibilities:
Pick computer-generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
Operate saws and handle steel.
Transfer stock to its location using forklift trucks and cranes.
Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
Driving licence (Essential).
Experience as a Warehouse Operative with both bandsaw and crane experience (Desired).
Health and safety awareness.
Overhead crane experience (Advantageous).
Fork-lift and side-loader experience (Desirable).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Basic computer and data input skills.
Further information:
Week 1 - 05:30 to 14:00 Monday to Friday, paying £11.50ph.
Week 2 - 12:00 to 20:30 Monday to Thursday & 11:00 to 19:30 Friday, paying 12.75ph shift bonus.
Overtime: £14.95ph
Pay increase once probation period is completed.
Monthly bonuses included.
1x 30-minute lunch break.
Full training and site induction provided.

Weekly pay each Friday, paid annual leave, access to pension - PAYE.
