Warehouse Operative - Late shift

We are recruiting warehouse operators to work within an old-fashioned warehouse starting from 1st September - 30th October 2026.

Please note there is a possibility this time frame may be extended.

Pay rate: £13.06 per hour

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Shift time 14.00-22.00, Monday to Friday with the possibility of weekend work as and when needed.

Full training will be provided.

Job summary

Picking and packing of stationary and light furniture for client orders, replenishment of shelves and goods out.

The afternoon shift will also include loading of vehicles and pushing cages onto the lorry ramp.

You will be provided with a daily pick sheet and a trolley. You locate the items in the aisles. Once full the trolley is taken to the packing station and packed ready for distribution.

You will cover a fair distance on foot within the warehouse and must be physically fit enough to lift and move items.

The client is based a short walk from Welwyn Garden City train station, and also has an accessible bus route. There is plenty of street parking a 5 minute walk away if their shared car park is full.
