UBT Recruitment are proud to be working with an established family-run SME based in Isle of Sheppey. You will be joining the leading provider of equipment and services to various industries. As a Warehouse Operative you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Warehouse. . You will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload furniture from delivery vehicles
* Pick, pack and prepare furniture for loading
* Unload, clean and restock furniture when off-hired
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Operate warehouse equipment
* Assist with inventory management and stock control
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Drive company vehicles to deliver products
* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Requirements
* Experience in warehouse operations and driving roles
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
* Forklift licence (desirable)
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Physically fit
* Ability to lift heavy items
* Flexible with working overtime
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am-5pm (overtime required)
