Binding Operative – Day Shifts (3 Days per Week)
We are currently recruiting for a Binding Operative to join the team at a leading book manufacturer.
This is a fast-paced, target-driven role within the Binding Department, operating and monitoring binding machinery used to produce high-quality books.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy production environment, with the ability to work quickly and consistently to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating and monitoring binding machinery
*
Monitoring production processes to maximise efficiency
*
Carrying out quality checks on finished products
*
Ensuring products meet company quality standards
*
Working at pace to achieve daily production targets
*
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*
Standing for long periods throughout the shift
Shift Pattern:
*
Day shifts: 6am–6pm
*
12-hour shifts – 3 days per week
*
Includes 1–2 Saturdays per month, depending on the rota-paid overtime
Requirements:

Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
*
Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*
Ability to work to targets and deadlines
*
Good attention to detail and quality
*
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
*
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is beneficial
