Warehouse Operative - PM Shift (2pm Start)

We are currently recruiting for several Warehouse Operatives to join our client based in Darlington on the PM Shift.

⚠️ Please note: Drug and alcohol testing will be carried out before starting this role and may be conducted randomly throughout your assignment.

About the Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming pallets, organising stock, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting is essential.

Shift Pattern

PM Shift: 2:00pm until finish
Approx. 6-8 hours per shift, depending on business requirements.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
✅ Paid weekly every Friday

Working Pattern:

5 days out of 7
Includes weekend working
2 weekends on, 1 weekend off rota

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and processing incoming pallets
Organising and maintaining warehouse stock
Carrying out quality checks on incoming pallets
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
Operating warehouse equipment such as pump trucks
Following all health and safety procedures
Assisting with other warehouse duties as required

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is desirable
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Knowledge of warehouse procedures
Forklift certification is advantageous but not essential⚠️ Drug and alcohol tests will be carried out prior to starting and randomly throughout the assignment.
