Warehouse Operative – Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Pay: £13.00
Due to the location of the business you will require your own transport, or to live locally in Horsham.
Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is a varied role covering a range of warehouse duties, with full training provided. Previous experience is not essential, and applications are welcomed from candidates with transferable skills or an interest in developing their experience within a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities

Picking and preparing customer orders.
*
Loading and unloading lorries.
*
Stock control and general warehouse organisation.
*
Assisting with material processing.
*
Updating stock records and using warehouse systems.
*
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience
*
Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
*
Counterbalance and Reach Forklift experience would be advantageous but is not required.
*
Basic computer knowledge would be beneficial.
*
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
*
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
*
Willingness to undertake training and learn new skills.
