Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Health and Safety/Warehouse Operative to work Days, Monday to Friday for an award winning global document storage company in their warehouse in Stafford with free parking onsite and long term work!
Hours & Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay Rate: £12.19 per hour
As aWarehouse Operative you will be working in a warehouse based environment in Stafford with responsibility for the following:
Keeping up to date with the current H & S regulations
Updating the health and safety board with key and relevant names/contact details
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Preparing office furniture to be sent to home workers
Quality Checking office equipment for any faults i.e chairs, tables, monitor screens, head sets etc.
Full inspection process is to be followed
Complete relevant paperwork to pass or fail equipment
Use a scanner to check bar codes
Computer Work will also be involvedWe are really keen to hear from applicants with the following:
Warehouse Operative experience or similar ideally
Full training will be provided
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in a targeted environment
Good dexterityThe role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS check and provide verifiable employment/ education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support cover the cost.
