Forklift & Warehouse Operative – Aston Down Airfield
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 4.00pm
Salary: Circa £27,000 per annum
Benefits: Pension scheme and healthcare scheme
Probation period: 3 months
Our client is looking for an experienced Forklift Truck and Warehouse Operative to join their team based at Aston Down Airfield. This is a permanent role where you will work as part of a small warehouse team to achieve daily and weekly targets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating a forklift truck (counterbalance)
* Receiving goods and materials
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Moving stock and materials across the warehouse
* Preparing orders
* Completing manual handling and general warehouse duties
* Maintaining housekeeping standards
* Record keeping and stocktaking
Requirements:
* Counterbalance FLT certificate (preferred)
* Previous warehousing experience
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Self-motivated and reliable
