Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - One of the UK's leading suppliers of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Bishops Stortford.
The rate of pay is £32,306 per annum.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 4:30pm
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include placing goods into storage, picking stock, and consolidating orders. Assist in the loading of vehicles. This job is to be performed in a manner that enables the company to provide the best possible service to its customers and maximise environmental, health and safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and store goods accurately.
- Pick and consolidate orders, ensuring safe pallet building and product integrity.
- Assist in stock checks and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain stock levels and consolidation to maximise space and throughput.
- Handle customer stock professionally and considerately.
- Assist in loading and unloading vehicles.
- Report damaged stock.
- Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting, and lowering.
- Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised.

Your skills:
- Previous warehousing experience
- FLT licence is desirable but not essential
- Enthusiastic and highly driven individual - friendly and fun
Full driving license and your own transport
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions of management and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner.
