Job Type: Temporary, ongoing / temp to perm opportunity - PAYE via Pertemps
We are currently seeking committed Warehouse , Loading Bay and Weighbridge Operatives to support a busy and fast‑paced site in Robertsbridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, well‑established organisation that depends on a flexible workforce to cover holiday, sickness, and periods of increased demand. As a Warehouse Operative, you will work on a rotating shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts, so adaptability is essential.
Please note: This location cannot be accessed by public transport or on foot. A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Ensuring goods are handled, stored, and secured correctly
Maintaining clean and safe working areas in line with site standards
Following all safety rules and operational procedures
Operating the weighbridge system and recording vehicle weights accurately
Overseeing gatehouse access, including checking vehicles in and out
Supporting site security procedures and maintaining accurate logs
Assisting drivers and visitors with entry requirements
To succeed in the Warehouse Operative role, you should have:
Experience within warehousing, distribution, weighbridge operations, or loading bays (desirable but not essential)
Good physical fitness and confidence with manual handling tasks
Strong attention to detail and a reliable work approach
Clear communication skills and a professional attitude
Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
Your own transport due to the site’s remote location
