Warehouse Operative
Location: Leeds, LS11
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution warehouse based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable with physically demanding work and are available to start as soon as possible.
Working Hours
*
Monday to Friday
*
Standard shifts start at 6:00am and are typically 8-10 hours long
*
During the initial training period, shifts will start at 8:00am
*
Overtime may be available depending on business requirements
Key Responsibilities
*
Loading and unloading pallets
*
Picking and packing customer orders
*
Handling and moving heavy boxes and stock safely
*
Loading paper products, office supplies, and other warehouse goods
*
Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
*
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
*
Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
*
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
*
Comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
*
Used to working in a physically demanding environment
*
Reliable with a strong work ethic and good timekeeping
*
Able to work independently and as part of a team
*
Must have their own vehicle to travel to and from the site, as public transport is not suitable for the early start times
*
Available to start immediately
