Warehouse Operative
Location: Near Ely, Cambs
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
Salary: Up to £28k
A specialist manufacturing business near Ely is looking for a hardworking Warehouse Operative to join its growing team. This lovely family run business puts their people at the forefront of the business and is a great place to work and thrive. Accuracy and attention to detail are key in this position.
The Role
You’ll play an important part in the day‑to‑day running of the warehouse, including:
* Packing and preparing customer orders
* Entering and processing orders on an internal IT system
* Quality checking goods before dispatch
* Manual handling and lifting of products (up to 20kg)
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
* Supporting general warehouse duties as needed
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting
* A good communicator with a positive, team‑focused attitude
* Confident using basic IT systems
* Detail‑oriented and reliable
* Forklift‑trained (desirable but not essential)
What You’ll Get
