Warehouse Operative
Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client based in Luton on a temporary to permanent basis.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
10:00am – 6:00pm
2:00pm – 10:00pm
Duties of a Warehouse Operative
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
Moving, stacking, wrapping, and palletising stock
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes
Labelling and preparing stock for dispatch
Carrying out stock checks and supporting inventory control
Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems where required
Organising products within the warehouse/yard to maintain efficiency
Ensuring all orders are completed within deadlines
Maintaining cleanliness and general housekeeping within the warehouse
Reporting damaged stock, missing items, or health and safety concerns
Following all company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times
Supporting colleagues and working effectively as part of a team
Assisting with additional warehouse duties as required by management
Personal Specification
Good level of written English
Ability to undertake physically demanding work
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
