Warehouse Operative
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £29,400 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1pm–10pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a busy, hands-on team in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and providing a high standard of service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:
* Picking and packing customer orders safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and controlled manner
* Supporting goods-in and checking incoming deliveries
* Moving and putting away stock
* Preparing orders ready for dispatch
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation using 5S methodology
* Supporting perpetual and location-driven stock audits
* Working as part of the warehouse team to achieve daily and weekly targets
* Ensuring accuracy when handling and preparing customer orders
* Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
Key Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:
* Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience is beneficial but not essential
* Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy boxes and tubes
* Comfortable navigating a large warehouse and locating stock
* Proactive and methodical approach to work
* Able to adapt to a changing environment while remaining calm
* Reliable, punctual and flexible
* Good organisational skills
* Great attention to detail and a good attitude
