Warehouse Operative – Inbound / Goods In
Location: Coleshill B46
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Shift Allowance: £14.00 per hour for hours worked after 10pm
Overtime: Time and a half after 37.5 hours
Shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm
Important: Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work both shift patterns.
About the Role
We're looking for reliable, energetic and detail-focused Warehouse Operatives to join a busy, modern e-commerce operation.
You'll play an important role in making sure products arrive, are checked accurately and are processed efficiently so they can move through the operation without delay. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same, and where teamwork, accuracy and a great work ethic really matter.
With high volumes of products moving through the site, you'll be part of a team helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You'll Be Doing
Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
Checking quantities, product codes, batch numbers and delivery paperwork.
Identifying and reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock.
Using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to record stock accurately.
Ensuring products are processed and stored in the correct locations.
Keeping receiving and storage areas clean, organised and safe.
Investigating stock or delivery discrepancies and escalating issues where necessary.
Working to daily performance and accuracy targets.
Supporting colleagues and other areas of the operation when required.
Following all health, safety and operational procedures.
Working efficiently during busy periods and peak trading times.
What We're Looking For
Inbound Experience essential!
Reliable and punctual
You understand the importance of turning up on time and being someone your team can depend on.
Accurate and detail-focused
You're comfortable checking information carefully and spotting when something doesn't look right.
Hard-working and physically capable
You'll be on your feet for much of the shift, with regular lifting, carrying, walking and moving stock.
Comfortable with technology
You'll use scanners and warehouse systems, so you should be confident using basic technology and willing to learn new systems quickly.
A team player
You'll work alongside colleagues, supervisors and other teams, so good communication and a positive attitude are essential.
Adaptable
Workloads can change quickly, particularly during busy periods. You should be comfortable switching priorities and keeping your performance high.
Safety-conscious
You'll follow health and safety procedures, use PPE correctly and make sure any hazards or concerns are reported.

The Hours
This role operates across two shift patterns:
Early: 6:00am – 2:00pm
