The Best Connection are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our prestigious client based in Gatwick Airport.
ROLE: Warehouse Operative
SALARY: £13.86
SHIFTS: 6 on, 3 off (8 hour shifts) or 4 on, 4 off (12 hour shifts), covering earlies, lates and nights
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles
* Place and retrieve freight in and from storage areas • Build cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications
* Complete documentation to record details and movement of freight, mail and equipment
* Complete necessary checks on imports / exports to ensure company and customer requirements are being met
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Forklift experience would be an advantage
* Ability to manually handle heavy goods
Requirements:
* Produce a clean DBS due to the location of the role
* Reference-able 5 year employment history
* Willing to undertake Drug and Alcohol test
