Warehouse Operative

The Role

An established business is looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

* Receiving, unloading, checking and storing deliveries.

* Preparing, packing and despatching customer orders accurately and on time.

* Updating stock records and locations using an internal computer system.

* Carrying out regular stock checks.

* Reporting low stock levels to the relevant team.

* Receiving and tracking repairs, keeping colleagues updated on progress.

* Supporting production and despatch teams as required.

* Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse and surrounding areas.

The Ideal Candidate

* Organised, proactive and able to prioritise workload.

* Reliable, with good attention to detail.

* A good team player with strong communication skills.

* Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business.

* Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new computer systems.

* Holds a valid counterbalance forklift licence.

* Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial.
