We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Assistant to play a vital role in supporting our client's operations. In this position, you will work closely with their Warehouse Manager, contributing to the day-to-day activities within their warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining consumable stock: You will be responsible for ensuring the inventory is well-stocked and organised, ensuring essential supplies are readily available.
Managing deliveries: You will play a crucial role in coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring they are properly recorded and distributed to the appropriate locations.
Recording equipment information and room allocation: Accurate documentation of serial numbers and efficient organisation of room allocation will be essential to support the smooth operation of our client's AV systems.
Operating a pedestrian stacker: You will have the opportunity to operate a pedestrian stacker, contributing to the efficient movement and storage of equipment.
Warehouse stock management: Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you will assist in managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring optimal storage conditions.
Disposing of decommissioned equipment: Safely and responsibly disposing of equipment that is no longer in use will be part of your responsibilities.
Utilisation and disposal of legacy equipment: You will support the proper utilisation or disposal of legacy equipment in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety: Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and free from hazards is crucial to maintaining a safe working environment. Identifying and addressing any health and safety issues promptly will be essential.
Managing logistical requirements: You will contribute to the efficient coordination of logistical activities, ensuring that equipment and materials are available when needed.
IMS and Quality Policy awareness: Maintaining awareness of Integrated Management System (IMS) and Quality Policy requirements is important to ensure compliance and contribute to the overall quality of operations.
Taking charge in the Warehouse Manager's absence: As a capable and reliable team member, you may be entrusted to manage the warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. Requirements:

Basic PC skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills, including working with Excel and Word, will be necessary to perform various administrative tasks.
Good timekeeping: Punctuality and good time management skills will contribute to a productive and efficient work environment.
