Warehouse Operative
Bermondsey
£14.00 - £18.00 per hour - depending on experience
Monday to Friday 7 am - 3 pm (overtime available)
Ongoing temporary with permanent potential
KHR are partnering with a forward-thinking engineering business that specialises in the development and manufacture of advanced equipment and engineered systems. Due to an exciting period of expansion, they are looking to add an experienced Warehouse Operative to the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for practical, hands-on individuals to become part of a developing team, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy workshop and helping ensure the manufacturing floor is organised, prepared and ready for operations.
The Role:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the workshop and warehouse
- Preparing and organising the manufacturing floor
- Receiving, moving and storing materials, components and equipment
- Assisting with deliveries, goods-in and goods-out
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
- Supporting workshop technicians with materials and equipment as required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Candidate Profile
- Previous warehouse, stores, production or workshop experience would be beneficial
- A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A reliable team player who is happy to get stuck in
- A forklift licence, particularly counterbalance or reach, would be an advantage but is not essential
