We specialise in installing solar panels, roof-integrated PV systems, energy storage batteries, and electric vehicle chargers for newly built homes and commercial buildings.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. our main responsibilities will include:
Goods in: Receipt and storage of goods on our ERP system and industrial warehouse racking, scanning serialised inventory items in to receipt into our ERP system, loading and unloading of vehicles, checking off and returning unused kit
FLT safety checks
Basic electrical wiring (full training provided)
Goods out: Ensure kits are picked accurately for installation teams including scanning serialised inventory items; transferring stock out on our ERP system to keep accurate stock levels; delivering stock to site when necessary.
Stock control: Actively participate in weekly and monthly stock take; notify Progress Coordination, Facilities and Logistics Manager of shortages; calculating consumable stock requirements.
Facilities: ensuring warehouse and grounds are clean and presentable; ensure skips are emptied as required; daily/weekly/monthly H&S checks and relevant paperwork; opening up /locking up procedures for building.
Raising purchase orders for new stock orders as and when required on our ERP system.
Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
What You'll Need
Full UK Drivers licence
Qualified and experienced Reach Forklift Truck driver
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Good level of numeracy and literacy
Good organisational and record keeping skills
Computer literate
ERP experience is desirable (Oracle/Netsuite)
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Willingness to undertake paid overtime as and when required
