Shifts: Choose either AM or PM shift
AM: 06:00–14:00
PM: 14:00–22:00
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Derby (DE65).
Our client manufactures plastic bottles for leading retailers, including Lidl. This role is based within the production area, where you will be responsible for building pallets of finished products according to customer orders before they are prepared for dispatch.
Duties include:
* Building pallets to specific order requirements.
* Packing finished plastic bottles onto pallets.
* Shrink-wrapping completed pallets ready for distribution.
* Working efficiently to production targets.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience in a production or warehouse environment (preferred but not essential).
* Be reliable, punctual, and hard-working.
* Be able to work as part of a team.
* Have a good eye for detail and be able to follow instructions.
* Be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling.
* Have reliable transport to get to site. Transport support may be available for candidates who do not drive.
