Warehouse Operative

Description:

Responsibilities:

Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely notification of arrivals
Inspect and check goods for damage or defects
Organise and store products in designated areas
Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and labelling
Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, bendi), safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policiesEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role in a fast-paced environment
Valid counterbalance, Reachor Bendi licence and experience operating forklift equipment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling products
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods
Basic computer literacyDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Additional warehouse certifications, such as reach truck or bendi licence
Experience with inventory management systems
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
Manufacturing industry experienceTechnologies:

Forklift equipment (counterbalance, reach truck, bendi)
Inventory management systems
