Warehouse Operations Specialist

We're working with a successful business in Peterborough to recruit a Warehouse & Operations Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a reliable, organised individual who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly.

You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure stock is accurately managed, orders are prepared efficiently and customers receive the correct products on time.

Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Receiving deliveries, checking goods against paperwork and putting stock away in the correct locations.

Loading and unloading deliveries safely.

Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with regular stock checks.

Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring goods are packaged securely.

Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.

Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.

Working closely with colleagues to meet daily targets and delivery deadlines.

Reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods or any issues to the relevant team members.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous warehouse, stores or stock-handling experience would be beneficial.

Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

A reliable, proactive approach with a willingness to get involved.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
