Working Pattern: Typically, Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 16:30pm.
Reporting Line: Warehouse General Manager
Are you a dynamic Warehouse Manager looking to make a significant impact at a flagship operation in Loughborough, Leicestershire working for a leading warehouse & logistics provider?
The Company:
Loom Talent Limited have been exclusively appointed by a rapidly growing logistics business, based in Loughborough to help support a key operation within their UK wide network.
Our client is committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and overall operational efficiency, with an enjoyable day to day working culture.
Whilst flexibility will be required, the typical working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 16:30pm.
The Role:
* People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team to reach their full potential. Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset.
* Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business.
* Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI’s, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.
* WMS Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency. Familiarity with WMS & ERP implementations is a definite plus.
* Process Optimisation: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve productivity while ensuring quality and accuracy.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.
The Candidate:
* Have a Logistics Distribution & Supply Chain background - Essential.
* Have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience at a Warehouse Team Leader / Section Leader, Shift Manager or Warehouse Manager level - Essential.
* Have managed teams beyond 15+ employees through managerial reports - Essential.
* Lean Six Sigma / Prince2 Qualifications - Advantageous.
* Knowledge of WMS systems - Essential.
* Exceptional people management skills - Essential.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
* Commutable to Loughborough 5 days per week - Essential.
The Package:
* Salary - £28,000 to £32,000 – Depending on experience.
