Warehouse Manager

(Events / Production / Logistics) Wokingham £35-40k

Working Hours & Flexibility:

Standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, including a 1-hour paid lunch break
During busy periods, shifts will be rota-based between 7:00am - 7:00pm
There is an expectation for overtime to support increased workload when required
Weekend work will be required during peak periods and may be ad-hoc depending on business needs

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations within a fast-paced and technical environment supporting the events industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in events, production, rental, or logistics, who thrives in a hands-on role managing both people and processes.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring equipment is efficiently managed, maintained, and prepared to a high standard to support successful event delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and inventory management
Manage multiple workflows, prioritising tasks during busy dispatch and return periods
Lead, train, and develop a warehouse team, ensuring best practices are followed
Maintain accurate inventory records using management systems (training provided where needed)
Coordinate preparation and de-preparation of equipment for upcoming projects
Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety standards
Monitor and improve KPIs, including equipment readiness and operational accuracy
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

Proven experience in a warehouse management role within a fast-paced environment
Background within events, production, logistics, or equipment rental
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Health & Safety regulations
Good IT skills and experience with inventory systems
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

Desirable:

Experience working with KPIs and performance management
Proven ability to improve operational efficiency within a warehouse setting
