Warehouse Manager
Location: Dursley
Hours: Full-Time 8am – 4pm
Salary: £30k - £40k per annum
We are excited to offer a great opportunity to become the new Warehouse Manager for a leading company in the industry. This role carries significant responsibility, and we seek a candidate with a deep understanding of parts warehouse operations. You will be managing tight deadlines and high-pressure situations, especially during peak times.
Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Manager:
* Lead and manage a small warehouse team within a dynamic distribution environment.
* Motivate, organize, and manage staff and workload effectively.
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, ordering, assembly, and dispatch of parts.
* Ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations and continuously seek improvements.
* Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to maintain seamless logistics and timely deliveries.
* Keep stock control systems up to date and ensure inventory accuracy.
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on both tactical and strategic levels.
* Work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
* Work closely with sales staff to ensure smooth operations.
Key Skills of a Warehouse Manager:
* At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse management role.
* Proven experience managing and leading a small team in a warehouse or similar setting.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience ensuring compliance in a warehouse setting
