Warehouse Manager
Location: Orpington
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per year, DoE
Hours: Hours worked between 7am - 5pm.
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
·Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively by managing, directing and training warehouse employees.
·Establish, monitor and manage operational goals.
·Be fully aware of all warehouses operational systems and procedures to ensure goods are correct when receipted in, when within the warehouse and when picked for deliveries/collections.
·Investigate, resolve and/or report problems as they arise.
·Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
·Ensure they manage a team that provides customer focused service and takes proactive actions to meet the needs of customers.
·Use IT systems to manage the control and movement of goods and to plan improvements/changes required to manage the control of goods into, stored, and out of the company.
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:
·Previous Warehouse Management or Assistant Manager experience.
·Knowledge of transport and distribution.
·Great communication and organisational skills.
·Ability to work as part of a team and own initiative.
