Description:
The Recruitment Co are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join our client in Warrington on a permanent basis.
Our client is a distribution business proving high quality products to customers across the Country, as a warehouse operative you will be responsible for the day to day operation of goods in ,picking and stock control
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £24,918.40 per annum
40 hours per week on days, 8 hours work per day + breaks
Monday to Friday
(start time alternates weekly between 06:00 - 15:00 then 07:30 - 16:30 the following week)
23 days holiday + 8 days BH + "birthday" holiday, company pension + bonus scheme
Main tasks:
Pick stock as prioritised in line with dispatch deadlines ensuring maximum customer
satisfaction
Replenish stock in the aisles to ensure continued picking efficiency's
Offloading deliveries and locating in the Warehouse ensuring a high level of stock
accuracy
Checking and signing for deliveries in line with supplier documentation
Highlighting any stock queries and shortages and updating the warehouse log with stock movements
Optimise and suggest picking locations within the Warehouse
To support in the identification and elimination of waste in all its forms, including loading waste in the appropriate skip ready for disposal
Assist in loading stock in a controlled and efficient manner ready for customer delivery
Ensure that current and future Health, Safety and Environment policy is adhered to
continually support the creation of a centre of excellence culture
Skills / Experience
2+ years' experience in a similar role
Good time management skills
Effective communication skills
Physically fit to carry / pack loads for delivery
Good level of IT literacy
Positive, "can do" and "gets it done" attitude
Own transport is required due to the location of the role
FLT license would be advantageous although training would be provided for the right
candidate
