Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Location: North Tyneside
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £38,500 per annum
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a busy warehouse operation, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for driving operational performance, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting production and customer fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team.
* Oversee Goods In, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
* Ensure production materials are available when required.
* Maintain accurate stock through cycle counts and investigations.
* Coordinate transport and logistics activities.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
* Monitor warehouse KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
* Plan labour resources to meet operational demand.
* Build strong relationships with Production, Planning and Customer Services.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience managing or supervising a warehouse team.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control.
* Experience using WMS and/or ERP systems.
* Good IT, organisational and communication skills.
* Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
* Logistics or transport planning experience.
* Experience within manufacturing/FMCG.
* FLT licence and/or IOSH qualification.
