Warehouse -Kitting Inbound and Outbound Operative
Plymouth | £13.84 per hour | Rotating Shifts (2 weeks: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2 weeks: 2:00pm - 10:00pm) | Temporary to Permanent
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern, busy, and growing organisation for an experienced Warehouse Kitting Inbound and Outbound Operative to join their warehouse team in Plymouth.
As a Kitting Inbound and Outbound Operative, you will manage the flow of warehouse inventory by preparing component kits, processing inbound deliveries, and handling outbound shipments. This role combines goods receipt, kitting assembly, and dispatch, requiring excellent attention to detail and the safe operation of warehouse equipment.
Key Duties
Receive and inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
Assemble component kits according to build sheets, SKUs, or customer specifications.
Pick, pack, label, wrap, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners to track inventory and update stock records.
Carry out stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Operate material handling equipment, including pallet trucks and reach trucks, safely.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Basic IT skills with experience using barcode scanners and inventory systems.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for long periods.
Material Handling Equipment (MHE) licences, such as a Forklift Truck or Powered Pallet Truck licence, are advantageous but not essential.
What We Offer
£13.84 per hour.
Rotating shifts:
2 weeks: 6:00am - 2:00pm.
2 weeks: 2:00pm - 10:00pm.
