Forklift Drivers
Location: Hayes
Salary: £15.96 per hour + shift allowance
Contract: Temporary
Duration: Until the end of the year
Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday
The Role
We are currently recruiting for 4 Warehouse Operatives / Forklift Drivers to join our client's busy warehouse operation in Hayes on a temporary basis until the end of the year.
There are 2 day-shift positions and 2 night-shift positions available.
Shift Patterns
Day Shift - 2 positions
· Tuesday to Saturday
· 07:00 - 15:00
Night Shift - 2 positions
· Tuesday to Saturday
· 23:00 - 07:00
Duties
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, including:
· Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
· Moving and handling stock within the warehouse
· Operating a counterbalance forklift
· Carrying out general warehouse duties
· Ensuring goods are stored and handled correctly
· Following all site health and safety procedures
· Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
· Working effectively as part of a busy warehouse team
Essential Requirements
Candidates must have:
· Cargo Operative Training
· A Counterbalance Forklift Licence from an accredited body such as RTITB, AITT or ITSSAR
· A minimum 5-year checkable employment history
· Ability to complete a Criminal Record Check
· Previous warehouse and forklift experience
· A good understanding of health and safety within a warehouse environment
· Good reliability and attendance
Additional Information
This is a temporary position running until the end of the year.
Due to the nature of the role and site requirements, all candidates will be required to complete the relevant compliance checks and provide supporting documentation before starting.
