We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse / Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join their busy warehouse team on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is a varied role combining forklift truck operation with general warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring goods are handled with care.
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
Moving stock throughout the warehouse and assisting with stock organisation.
Carrying out goods-in and goods-out duties.
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards.
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required to support the team.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
Has previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
Can work independently as well as part of a team.
Has good attention to detail and can follow health and safety procedures.
Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties when required.
