Talent Guardian is delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing food manufacturing business to recruit a Warehouse & Dispatch Supervisor to join their operations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional looking to take the next step in their career with a well-established business that values teamwork, efficiency and continuous improvement.
The Role As Warehouse & Dispatch Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operation, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
You'll lead a small team, coordinate stock movements, manage dispatch documentation and work closely with production, transport and planning teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising daily warehouse and dispatch activities
Leading and supporting warehouse operatives
Managing goods-in and goods-out processes
Monitoring stock accuracy and inventory control
Ensuring all orders are dispatched accurately and on time
Completing dispatch paperwork and system transactions
Investigating stock discrepancies and operational issues
Monitoring team performance and productivity
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and food safety compliance About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident leading a team whilst remaining hands-on within the operation.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience within a warehouse, dispatch or logistics environment
Supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Experience managing stock and inventory processes
Good IT skills including Excel and warehouse/logistics systems
Excellent communication skills
A proactive and positive attitude Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a fast-paced distribution environment would be highly advantageous.
