Warehouse Co-Ordinator
Poynton, Cheshire
£28,000 - £30,000
Role Profile
Our client is a growing SME logistics business with an impressive growth trajectory. They are looking to recruit a Warehouse Co-Ordinator to join their team, based at their site near Poynton. You will report into the Head of Operations and be responsible for supporting day to day operations across the warehouse, which will include communicating with customers and co-ordinating sub-contract Transport. You will work Monday to Friday, typically 8am - 4pm.
Key Responsibilities
Processing relevant paperwork and invoicing from to aid daily activities.
Updating relevant spreadsheets and ensure WMS data is accurate.
Co-ordinate sub contract Transport, including scheduling times to suit warehouse activities & timescales.
Assist with stock counts and relevant reporting.
Engage with customers, providing relevant updates and ensuring exceptional levels of customer service is delivered.
Support Head of Operations to ensure daily KPI's are achieved and customer SLA's are adhered to.Key Skills & Experience
Proven warehouse experience, ideally in a 3PL environment but this is not essential.
A hands-on approach to work, with willingness to get involved with the team where necessary.
Strong customer service skills and friendly manner.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience using WMS software's would be advantageous.
Strong organisational skills, ideally including history of scheduling subcontract transport.Want to recruit a similar role?
