Description:
Warehouse Operatives required in Bordon for 6 month contract.
This role involves working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse with a diverse and hardworking team to ensure that all goods are received, processed and dispatched efficiently. The main responsibilities of the role include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders.
Daily Tasks as a warehouse Operative :
* Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (this includes loading, packing, wrapping products, labelling and shipping)
* Receiving and processing warehouse stock products, using scanners and manual handling aids
* Repackaging stock to specific customer requirements
* Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
* Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimising space utilisation
* Reporting any discrepancies
* Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and colleagues
* Operating and maintaining warehouse equipment
* Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules and H&S regulations
Requirements for this role :
* Good organizational and time management skills
* Warehouse experience
* A positive attitude and willingness to complete tasks to a high standard
* The ability to adapt to working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
* The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
* Happy to be on feet for the whole shift as well as a lot of walking,
* The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Numerate and literate, with excellent communication skills in English
