M4 Specialist are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our client’s team in Bellshill, Glasgow. This is an ongoing position with 42.5hrs a week. Within the UK our client delivers a national service, relied on and trusted by circa 3,500 businesses to serve tasty beverages and snacks at a variety of locations from workplaces to schools, universities and hospitals and everywhere in-between.
Shifts for the role of Warehouse Assistant:
* Monday to Friday: (Apply online only)
Duties of a Warehouse Assistant will include:
* Picking both Operator and Wholesale orders.
* Processing paperwork, matching orders with delivery notes, goods received notes and invoicing
* Unload, check and safely place Warehouse stock
* Assist with stock taking routines within a periodic timescale.
* Maintain housekeeping and follow all Health and Safety procedures at all times
* Other ad hoc duties as required by the Warehouse or General Manager
Requirements for the role of a Warehouse Assistant:
* Forklift ticket (reach)
* Ability to drive a Forklift truck in and outside of the warehouse as per site rules
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to lift and move stock (confectionery, drinks cans, paper cups, syrup) from warehouse to pallets.
* Own driving licence is preferable
