VACANCY: Warehouse Administrator

LOACTION: Sherburn-In-Elmet

HOURS: Monday - Friday (5 hours per day)

PAY: £12.50 per hour

Elevate your career with a pivotal role at a distinguished Food Manufacturing business nestled in the heart of Sherburn-In-Elmet. The firm is currently seeking a meticulous and adept Warehouse Administrator to join their team, providing essential support on a maternity cover basis until the end of December 2024.

This part-time position offers a 25-hour work week, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate those needing to align with school hours. The role involves a blend of operational and administrative tasks within the Warehouse Department, ensuring the seamless coordination of stock movements and the bridge between warehouse and logistics functions.

Candidates will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, including the allocation of requisitions, maintaining accurate stock control, updating systems with production stock information, and overseeing works order paperwork. Additionally, the role encompasses covering for the Warehouse & Supply Chain Assistant Manager during their absence, coordinating order preparation, and managing departmental paperwork.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining the booking in diary, liaising with logistics for order dispatch, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is meticulously prepared and organised. Furthermore, the role requires involvement in end-of-month and year-end stock takes, investigating stock movement discrepancies, and promoting safe working practices.

To excel in this role, experience with Sage software is highly beneficial, along with a strong administrative background. The ability to liaise effectively with various departments and a commitment to upholding the company's values and standards in quality, hygiene, and safety are paramount.
