Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Warehouse Admin Operative on behalf of our client based in Luton, Beds.
This is a permanent role, where the successful applicant will have the opportunity to start as a temp for the first 2-3 weeks, then with a view to going permanent after the temp trial period
Daily tasks will include:
• Checking inbound goods in and putting them away in dedicated spaces
• Picking stock and loading the vehicles
• Picking and despatching goods through their couriers (DHL/UPS & pallet service)
• Unloading the trucks using electric fork truck (fork truck license would be of benefit but it is not crucial – they can offer in house training)
• Stock taking & stock control
• Assistance with trade counter & picking goods for collection
• Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
• Occasionally driving the van; delivering goods
Essential Requirements:
• UK driving license
• Fork truck license would be of benefit but not essential
• Basic computer knowledge (in order to use DHL/UPS despatch tools – printing off shipping labels)
• ‘Can do’, friendly attitude
• Attention to detail
Working hours 8am - 5pm Mon - Thurs and 8 am -4 pm Fri, with flexibility for overtime when needed (paid)
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour + Bonuses + Paid Overtime
