Are you a Ward Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client is on the hunt for a dedicated and passionate individual to join their rehabilitative facilities based in Bristol and the outskirts of Thornbury. They are a dynamic company that supports adults aged 18-65 with mental health illnesses to transition out to the community.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £48,000 to £50,000 per annum plus a discretionary and non-contractual bonus. You'll have the chance to work with a diverse client group and staff team, contributing to the development of the service from its inception. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge in all areas of mental health and learning disabilities.

Our client is a family-owned specialist rehabilitation, recovery and accommodation services business in the South West. They take pride in providing community-based solutions to people with diagnosed mental health conditions or complex, unmet needs. Their core philosophy is the promotion of independence, health and social recovery through bespoke rehabilitation and care/support planning for these adults.

As a Ward Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering an innovative and compassionate clinical service, taking a hands-on person-centred approach.
Overseeing the delivery, action and review of Clinical Care/Support Plans using recovery focused strategies.
Assessing risk and contributing to the development of robust management strategies in line with positive risk frameworks.
Leading group sessions and 121 sessions as required.
Working in partnership with the therapeutic team to deliver a recovery focused clinical and therapeutic service. 
 
Package and Benefits:

Annual salary of £35,000 to £38,000 plus a discretionary and non-contractual bonus.

The ideal candidate for the Ward Manager role will have:

A valid NMC Pin as a Mental Health Practitioner.
Experience working in Forensic Services or registered as a Forensic Practitioner (desirable).
Knowledge of up-to-date clinical practice and understanding of support and rehabilitative models.
Two years of significant management experience working with people with complex mental health needs.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience of clinical practice post qualification.
Strong IT skills and effective interpersonal skills.
