Job Overview
Ward Catering assistant
We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as Hosts/Hostesses. As a Host/Host in a hospital, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on the right foot.
Shifts are Monday to Friday 7am -3pm on an ongoing Temp basis.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
- proving patients with menus, taking the cards to Kitchen team to prepare their meals
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns
-Deliver ordered meals to patients paying particular attention to dietary requirements
-Clearing all trays and catering equipment to the stations
-Transporting catering waste to waste area.
Requirements to the role
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
- Knowledge of food safety is a plus
- Basic DBS
- Full Registration with Contract Options
- Allergen certificate and food safety certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to handle guest requests efficiently
