Position: Voids Supervisor
Location: Staffordshire area
Duration: 6-9 months
Salary: up to £40k
This is an exciting opportunity for a Voids Supervisor to work with one of the UK’s largest housing providers, they offer more than 28000 homes, ranging from affordable social housing through to private rent across the North West of England. They are a registered social landlord helping people at every stage of life to live in quality homes they can afford.
The Role
* Responsible for the delivery of void maintenance
* Managing a team of operatives
* Scheduling operatives
* Tracking and following up on projects
* Responsible for the delivery of performance and budgets
* Maintain a high level of Health and Safety at all times
Qualifications and experience
* Experience in a management position is essential
* Knowledge of the importance of equality and diversity within the delivery of housing services
* Proven ability to present information or concepts that are relevant to the audience
* Able to demonstrate an effective approach to delivery and customer care
* Good knowledge of literacy and numeracy
* Ability to build relationships in a team and individually in order to gain trust of external partners
* Able to work effectively with other managers
* Knowledge of contract management, Health and Safety legislations and landlord and tenant legislations
* Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH required
* UK Valid Driving License
