Voice & Network Engineer - Gloucester (hybrid) £40k-£47k + on-call allowance & Excellent Benefits

We're working with a large, multi-site organisation seeking a Voice & Network Engineer to join an established infrastructure team.

This is a varied role supporting both voice and network technologies across a complex environment. The successful candidate will be involved in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of critical communications and networking infrastructure, with a particular focus on voice technologies.

What you'll be doing as the successful Voice & Network Engineer

Supporting and maintaining voice and network infrastructure across multiple sites.
Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving network and telephony issues.
Installing, configuring, and upgrading network and communications hardware and software.
Managing system backups and supporting disaster recovery processes.
Monitoring network performance and producing operational reports.
Supporting LAN, WAN, SIP and unified communications environments.
Working closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal technology teams to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
Participating in an on-call rota to support business-critical services.

What we're looking for in the Voice & Network Engineer

Experience supporting both voice and networking environments.
Cisco CUCM
Cisco UCCE
Microsoft Teams Voice
SIP Telephony
Voice Networking
LAN/WAN Technologies
Experience using network monitoring and management tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively with wider technical teams.

Nice to have

Cisco switching and routing experience.
Firewall technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto or Check Point.
Cisco ISE, 802.1x or MAB authentication.
Wireless networking experience.
