Description:

Looking for an immediate opportunity to make a genuine difference to apprentices while bringing your vocational expertise into an established education setting? My client is looking for a Vocational Trainer to provide immediate agency support while they continue their recruitment for a permanent appointment, giving you the opportunity to step into a rewarding role where your experience can have an impact from day one.

As a Vocational Trainer, you’ll support apprentices across Engineering, Welding and Motor Vehicle pathways, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to progress successfully through their programmes. You’ll work closely with apprentices, employers and the wider Apprenticeship Team, delivering progress reviews, supporting training plans, monitoring off-the-job training and helping learners prepare for their End Point Assessment.

This Vocational Trainer opportunity would suit someone with a Level 3 vocational qualification in Engineering or Welding and Fabrication who is confident operating within a vocational training environment. Your practical knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with apprentices and employers will give you the opportunity to support learner development, encourage progress and contribute to high-quality apprenticeship delivery.

There’s plenty of variety and purpose to the role:

* Immediate agency opportunity supporting the Apprenticeship Team

* Opportunity to work across Engineering, Welding and Motor Vehicle apprenticeship pathways

* The chance to use your vocational expertise to directly support apprentice development

As a Vocational Trainer, you’ll become an important part of the Apprenticeship Team, working collaboratively with employers and colleagues to ensure apprentices receive the guidance and support they need to succeed. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your industry knowledge into a learning environment, helping apprentices develop their skills while contributing to a college committed to quality, inclusion and positive learner outcomes.

A Level 3 vocational qualification in Engineering or Welding and Fabrication is essential for this opportunity, as you’ll be supporting apprentices across these specialist vocational pathways. If you have the relevant qualification and experience and are available for an immediate agency opportunity, this Vocational Trainer role could be an excellent way to make a real impact.
